Only issues we had were the beds were all extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the pillows in the master were also too firm to sleep with comfortably so none of us slept well. "A nice quiet getaway on an artistic island! The owners have a model railway on site that they are proud to show, as well as the Inner Healing Sound Spa. My wife and I enjoyed both events. The island is beautiful and easy to drive around. Lots of crafts and artists. A few minor things could be updated on the property, however all in all it was very satisfactory. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the Grand Cedar Lodge in Nanaimo. The location was beautiful with lot's of walking paths around and easy access to all the amenities we needed. The space was fairly well equipped with all that we needed for our short stay. The gas fireplace was wonderful to have for the chilly mornings. For those who prefer a softer mattress we did find the beds to be quite firm. "
