Beautiful, stylish cottage!
Just spent a great week at this beautifully decorated cottage, which combines character with stylish mod cons (powerful showers particularly appreciated). Not much on the actual doorstep but it's close to amenities of Bude and just a 10-minute drive to Widemouth beach. beach(brillianbodyboarding

Overwhelmed with rules
The property itself was very nice, although it wasnt very relaxing to stay there. I think the owner suffered from OCD. Too many rules.Also no welcome pack.

Good place to stay very close to Bude
We only stayed for a long weekend. Finding the the property was a bit of problem the whatthreewords seemed miles off unfortunately sign covered in ivy. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately no welcome pack supplied. Very noisy dogs next door 3am barking on two nights in a row,bedroom blinds not good enough, neighbours lights and sunrise lights the room up. I have raised these and a few other issues and hopefully they have now been resolved, if they have then I would highly recommend staying here.

Easter Weekend Break
We had a wonderful stay over the Easter Weekend. The property was perfect, very clean, beautiful furnishings and lots of space. Highly recommend staying here, close to Bude and lots of other beautiful beaches.

Lovely cottage
We had a really good stay in a cottage which was much larger than we were expecting. It was lovely and clean throughout and had the essentials to help keep it that was for the week stay. The fireplaces are a real feature in the lounge and dining rooms. The showers were amazing, so much power, great to wash away the day.

Fantastic property
This property was amazing. Had everything we needed to make it a home from home experience. Beds were extremely comfortable and showers were amazing! The patio is quaint, secluded and perfect for a BBQ. The quirky cottage features and wood burning stoves were lovely. The courtyard setting is very picturesque with a good view of the neighbours horses. It was a great location for exploring and a short drive to stunning Bude. We will definitely be back and the hosts were easy to communicate with and they left some lovely welcome touches too.

Fantastic holiday near Bude
This cottage was perfect! The village location was wonderful and only an 8 minute drive to Bude. Such comfortable beds, beautiful decor and everything we needed, a real home from home.

Lovely farmhouse in the countryside
The farmhouse was lovely- clean, comfortable and much bigger than expected. The bedrooms and bathrooms were awesome and the kitchen was well equipped. You really have to drive rather than walk directly from the house but it is a great bass for exploring North Devon. Everything went smoothly and we had a lovely relaxed week. Thank you!

Outstanding Farmhouse Cottage
On walking into this lovely Farmhouse, we were greeted by a spacious hall way. A quick walk round the property, confirmed our first impressions that this was a warm friendly Farmhouse with everything we needed for a relaxing comfortable holiday. The Farmhouse was exceptionally clean. There were four in our party and the Farmhouse was more than big enough to house us all with ease and comfort. If there were six of us, the same would apply. Downstairs the two large log burning stoves, (lounge and dining room), supplied us with excellent heating, (there are also radiators in each room if needed). The lounge has two large comfortable sofas while the dining table was large and big enough to sit six with ease. The kitchen has everything we expected and more: all the appliances were fairly new and included washing machine, drier and a large fridge freezer. A small but very functional back garden along with plenty of parking at the front compliments this property. The Farmhouse is simply, very tastefully decorated. We have nothing negative to write, only positives for this very quiet peaceful location of this lovely Farmhouse, less than 2 miles from Bude and its perfect beaches. Improvements: none, save the website pictures do not do the property justice! Thank for a wonderful holiday, we will be back!!

Super Cottage convenient location
The property is very tastefully decorated with lots of individual touches. Comfy beds and nice powerful showers. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Easy booking and helpful hosts.

Wonderful cottage
Just back from a wonderful stay. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, the pictures made the rooms look smaller than they are. Cottage is well presented and excellently located for Bude and several excellent beaches.

Beautiful cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy and comfortable cottage, which was bigger than we expected. The mile walk to the nearest pub was reasonable - not much passing traffic. The walk along the canal into Bude was delightful and the local beaches were fantastic. Overall a great week.

Brilliant stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, which was in fact better than we were expecting! The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very large and overall, incredibly comfortable. The house is well equipped and everything, from cutlery to bedding, of lovely quality. We had everything we needed and if we have the chance we'll definitely stay there again.

Truly beautiful.
You drive up to a chocolate box cottage, open the door and the house just welcomes you in. Spotlessly clean, with mostly new facilities including kitchen, bathrooms and wood burners. What’s not to love? All three beds really comfortable and such a peaceful location that you couldn’t help but relax. It’s been just what the doctor ordered for all of us. 1.5 miles to the nearest shop, but A flat walk with very little passing traffic. 4 miles to brilliant beaches. We walked into Bude along the canal one day, which was lovely. One of our best holidays. We will return.
