"Overall a really great hotel. There are only minor things like teabags,one dishwasher tablets more and ensure that the electric carparks only used by electric cars. Highly recommended for a weekend or business trip to Hamburg. We will come back"

"From the moment we stepped onto the houseboat, we knew we were in for a treat! Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't recommend this experience highly enough. "We were a large group of friends divided in three different rooms and we had the best time at Numa Fore! Very clean, great bed, very cute apartments. Transport is also great, 9 mins walk to train that dropped us straght in the city center in 20 mins! In the weekend the parking spots outside the hotel are free of charge, BONUS!!!"

"Excellent customer service, especially from the lovely hotel manager who helped us park our car and gave a lot of information about Hamburg. He was very nice to all of our family - including our 2 teenagers. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the location was perfect. Great coffee shop on the corner close by is recommended for breakfast. Room was great and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Close to shops, sights and I would definitely stay again. "We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. We will absolutely be back!! "

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."

The layout is a bit funky with glass panels giving visibility into some rooms, the restroom windows going out to the walkthrough and one room having no windows at all. "The appartments were actually called the "Makro Appartments". They were fairly new, in great condition, comfortable and very clean. Train station right next door which was very convenient but still quiet (triple glazed windows). I'd definitely stay here again - perfect for travelling with children."

"Firstly, the location was perfect for us. We landed at Hamburg and one direct train took us to within 2 minute walk to the front door. Excellent stay and service!

"My stay at the Reichshoft Hamburg was excellent. The hotel is centrally located just across from the Hamburg Central Station and other amenities in the city. The front desk staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was very clean, and everything in it functioned as expected. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to travel to the airport or if you want to travel by rail to other parts of Germany or Europe. I will definitely stay at the Reichshoft again."

Super comfy beds

"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed. "

"Four days of pure luxury. We upgraded to the Europa suite and it was the most magical venue for Christmas. We enjoyed a magnificent Christmas lunch, delicious breakfasts and wonderful room service meals. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. We really don’t have enough superlatives for our stay at the Fontenay. Worth every penny! "

Modern and stylish with great location!

"The hotel was very modern and stylish. It is located in a park so is very quiet at night. The reception staff was great and efficient. The rooms are big and the beds are huge and very comfortable though maybe a bit too high. There is a big tv, a small fridge, a kettle and tea/ coffee and bottle water available in the room, so it is really above the average 4☆ hotels. The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub which l had requested, so it was fantastic helpful. There is a hairdryer and en iron! So its really above average 4☆ hotel! The only problem l encountered was with a cleaning staff who didn't understand neither German nor English, and seemed a bit annoyed when I asked him to come back later as l was in the middle of a bath, but he didn't come back that day... so maybe a little improvement der, but of course l should have put the do not disturb sign on the door! Otherwise it was a great 4 nights stay in the wonderful city of Hamborg. "
