"Unique hotel experience – feels very exclusive, like staying in the white house. Staff is very friendly, breakfast had good, but not amazing options. Suite was very cool (had an upgrade) – classy furniture, comfy bed. Bathtub however was not so nice: there was quite some chipping, faucet was loose and would spin around when turning on the water, tile joints and shower wall were kinda dirty. "A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."
