Funky decor in this v comfortable hotel. Really handy for the sightseeing tram, less than 5 minutes walk from New Regent Street wuth its chic bars, restaurants and shops. Close to Cathedral Square and the shuttle bus to the gondola. Excellent. Right next door grab a tasty breakfast at Tramway Cafe and the OGB restaurant across the street is superb with a masterly curated wine list

We loved our stay at De Lago Apartments. Will the manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was massive with a Jacuzzi bath and a private balcony although we did pay extra for this and it was well worth the money. It is about 20 mins walk into central Christchurch and all the attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a petrol station and liquor store. The kitchen was perfect and there was nothing that we required in addition to what was provided. Loved it here.

"Again, Airport Gateway Motor Lodge was a comfortable place to stay before an very early morning flight back to Melbourne, Australia. Their airport pick-up and drop-off service is fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, with great amenities in the kitchen and bathroom."
