"It was difficult to find the entrance to the carpark for the hotel. Safe parking with barrier entry. €10 per night. Restaurant was the only place to eat in the evening due to refurbishment. "We had an excellent stay for two nights in a room of four. Great staff, great area, very easy to walk to everywhere. Good underground parking lot at less than five minute walk for 15 euros. Only downside for us is that the walls seem pretty thin so we could hear outside noise when there was some. To be expected in an old building. All in all, we had a very nice time in Ghent it is a great city."

"Smart and quite trendy renovation of old monastery. There was a cold tap alongside my wash basin but no hot tap. Very odd - perhaps a legacy from monastic times ! Ha ha. I was on first floor and never did find the toilet so I always have to go downstair to the first floor to the toilet. Perhaps there was hot water and a first floor toilet but never found them. "
