At the eastern edge of the district is Las Californias Museum. Study the skeletons of sea mammals and other animals for insights into the area’s natural history. Check out the tools and artifacts used by pre-Columbian people.
Walk south of the museum for a few minutes to reach the Cultural Pavilion of the Republic, a venue for concerts and theatrical performances. Watch a dance recital or attend a screening at the Baja International Film Festival in November.
Put on your hiking shoes and head west to the summit of Cerro de la Z for spectacular views of the ocean and the town. Start at the beach to reach the top in less than 1 hour.
The Pedregal district is in the southwestern corner of Cabo San Lucas, at the southern tip of Baja California Sur. It stands between the zones of Marina and Paraiso Escondido. Travel west on foot from the city center for about 30 minutes to get here.
