"We really enjoyed our stay and glamping experience. It’s right in front of the Laguna, and close enough to the center of town with a bike to get there in 12-15 minutes or a 4 minute cab. The mattress was comfy, and having outlets, fan, and lights as well as an outdoor seating area was a nice plus. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, patient with my tons of questions, and the people staying there all had nice energy. "The pool is very far from the room. Sliding doors don’t close properly allowing mosquitos to come in. I don’t blame the staff. They are very friendly and tried to help however this property doesn’t look like anything advertised. The bed is made of cement and the mattress is hard. We can’t sit on the porch due to bats droppings and smells of bats. "

"The outside living area is very nice with beautiful views of lagoon. Outside area should have been swept/cleaned better before our arrival. The downstairs living area and bathrooms were nice, but the bedrooms/beds left much to be desired. The property managers were very easy to communicate with and responsive. "A Experience at Cristalino – The Best Hotel in Bacalar! Cristalino exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the customer service at check-in and in the restaurant was outstanding. The hotel is safe, quiet, and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was just what we were looking for. One of the highlights was the easy access to the water—you can literally walk in and reach a boat tour hotspot. Plus, they provide kayaks, which made exploring the lagoon even more enjoyable. We didn’t know it at first, but this property actually sits on one of the seven cenotes in the Bacalar Lagoon, which made our stay even more special. The location is also ideal—just a short 5-minute drive to the center of Bacalar, where you’ll find great restaurants and shopping. I was told multiple times that this is the best hotel in Bacalar, and they absolutely delivered. I will definitely be returning!"

"Great place to stay!! Friendly staff, rooms were bigger than we thought they would be and super clean. We went on a family trip, 10 of us between adults and kids, felt safe at all times. After the lake we walked to the centro from the hotel at night,there was a night market with all types of food and goodies. Families, couples, groups of friends and some by people by themselves, we were all enjoying the great atmosphere, lots of fun!!!"

"Casa Bakal was exceptional. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and provided guidance for different activities. The cleaning team did an excellent job in cleaning our bungalow. The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. A very important factor was that it was pet friendly and our little guy was very happy there as well. From arrival to departure the staff made sure we had an excellent experience and we absolutely did. Casa Bakal is definitely a return destination, often. "
