"Whole place is dated. Wall switches broken, one was shorting. Pool was closed for the hottest hours of the day when you really want it open and it really wasn’t clean. Breakfast minimal but ok. Bed not really comfortable. Power to room is turned off until check in time so it takes hours to even chill water in the fridge. Manager was very helpful and nice. "

"The property was clean, but basic and a little rustic. It was a peaceful country experience with lots of birdsong and frogs sounding in the valley. If you want peace and quiet, this is it. It is a bit off the beaten track south of Caltagirone, a very charming town. We were the only guests in the early season, so Michele and his wife cooked just for us for one night. The food was incredibly fresh and flavourful and really from the farm. That was a wonderful experience. The service was very...

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."
