"The hotel was very impressive upon entry. The person who welcomed us at the front desk was friendly and professional. The room was very spacious and well equipped. We found the TV was very small and the water pressure in the shower could be a bit better. It was convenient to have a restaurant within the hotel. However, based on the rest of the hotel, we had higher expectations. The quality of the food could be improved. "

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (115)
"My only two complaints really was the bed because you can feel the springs through it and someone somewhere played loud music until a little after 11pm. Not bad but if you're tired and want to sleep early, you can't. Staff was friendly though. Not a bad price for the money. Back parking lot wasn't easy to find for a first timer, there should be signs out front. "

"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

Ballina Apartment, Views of River Moy, Central Location

"Given the price, this accommodation was okay, but there are a couple of things which should be improved. It wouldn't stop me staying again if these things were addressed and I've messaged the owner directly on this"

1BED Apt at The Old Police Station, Easkey
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (11)
"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress. THANK YOU SHIELA AND VRBO."
