Lil Red Camper

This Vintage Style camper is a quaint little addition to our rustic 7 cabin resort. This camper was built in 2019 in a style reminiscent of vintage flair. Primarily suited for the camping enthusiast who understands the nuances and limitations of RV Living. Holding tanks provides enough water supply to water conscious individuals. This limited water supply is especially relevant with shower usage. The RV toilet drains into limited sized holding tanks and operates slightly different than what you are accustomed to at home. These are familiar details to those already accustom to RV accomodations.

This little resort is perfect for the outdoorsy kind who are coming for the camping experience where lake activity fills your day and evenings are enjoyed around the campfire. This charming camper has all the basics to create an Up North camping style atmosphere. A lifestyle one will appreciate becoming acquainted with.

Unlike the cabins which sit along the shore, this camper has air conditioning. It sits away from the water a short distance but has full access to the water and docks of this beautifully serene lake. This camper's close proximity to other cabins have traditionally created a friendly community style atmosphere where guests mingle and create lasting friendships. This is the kind of place where your grandparents brought your parents, your parent’s brought you, and you are now bringing your children to create beautiful memories while spending a nostalgic vacation in a familiar old cabin.

This camper is aproximately 140 sq ft and sleeps 2 people in the queen size bed. There is an electrical outlet on each side of the bed. Other electrical outlets are minimally located throughout the camper. The camper has a kitchen and dinette as well as a small bathroom like you would find in most RVs. The shower has it's limits but it gets the job done if you choose to use it. There is a dinette table for eating and the kitchen has everything to cover your basic needs. The awning and outdoor seating provides a perfect area to enjoy a quiet evening watching the campfire.

Whether you are looking for a home base to camp at the lake or a base camp while you explore the area’s attractions, you will enjoy this cozy camper and all of it's amenities. More than anything, you’re gonna love the authentic charm and the carefree lifestyle that comes with camping Up North.

Pets are welcome on the property for an additional fee of $25 per night / per pet, paid at time of arrival if not otherwise paid. This includes pets of your visitors to the property.

Free Parking is available for 1 vehicle per cabin. 1 boat/trailer per cabin is also free but are required to be parked in designated area elsewhere on the property. Extra vehicles require a $25 per day fee and must also be parked in a designated area elsewhere on the property. This includes vehicles of your visitors to the property.

Adorable
This camper is absolutely adorable! We wished we had booked for more than just 1 night!!! It was very clean, had the essentials readily available as well as some extras. Having AC in the middle of summer was a definite plus!! Check in and out was quick and easy. We will definitely come back!! Would 100% recommend!!!!!

September weekend getaway
We enjoyed the nostalgia of the camper. It was perfect for our weekend stay. We used it for breakfast and night time accommodations. We were gone all day and returned at dark. The linens were very clean but thought the floor could have used more attention. Loved the location to the bridge as well.

Quaint lil campet
We enjoyed our stay. Listing was as it is. Very peaceful and relaxing. I liked that it was out of town, yet still close enough to still enjoy all the things to do in Mackinaw City area.

Quiet vacation
This was a cute place to stay with quiet surroundings right off a small lake. Close drives within 1 1/2 -2 hours to several vacation activities including Mackinaw island. Canada, Gralyn zoo, Traverse, Petoskey wine tours, and lighthouse ferry tours.

Enjoyed our stay. Host was welcoming. Our only issue we found towards the end of our stay was some mold to the right of the door.
