"Very nice hotel but no lifts for getting to the upper floors. This was not an issue for us if we limited our time in and out of the room. Sorry that the onsite restaurant was not available for us to try the local foods."

"Great easy place to stay off the side of the main road through town. As we were checking in later, received a text with the room details, very convenient and reasonably priced. Has a restaurant next door with tasty food. Only thing missing was a teaspoon in the room to make coffee with!"

"The property was lovely. The view was good on the north facing room but would have been better south facing. The pool is heated and very clean. Great for a night or 2. Small TV and not able to connect to the smart functions but that was ok too. Great staff and they remember your name which was a fantastic thing as a guest to hear. Would recommend a stay thereeven with the walk up the hill."

"Great position overlooking the river, 5 min walk to Quay Street . Worth paying extra for an executive apartment, esp for the balcony. Generally very clean but some of the kitchen utensils/crockery could be cleaner. Staff are lovely. In all a very nice stay snd would return "

"Absolutely beautiful place, love the vintage look and feel. Stunning grounds and rooms. Like a step back in time but also beautifully clean and tidy! The friendliest staff! Will definitely be back again! *wanted to note they do take a $100 security deposit upon arrival. I didnt see it anywhere in prebooking stages but know its completely normal for most places to do this. Just for people that may not know, to expect it and budget for it as well if needed. "
