"Pros: The location is great. Right by the Peterson Automotive museum, the Academy museum of motion pictures, LACMA, and The La Brea tarpits and museum. The house was spacious. Check in was easy (though the cleaning people were still there at 7:30 pm when we arrived). "We had a terrific stay at Michael’s place. He’s a super cool guy, he and his awesome dog greeted us when we got there and helped me sort out how to work the TV options. The room is really nice, easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shopping and a short drive to other cool spots my wife and I were in LA for our 20th anniversary but already taking about coming back. We had a great time in LA and Michael’s place was a big part of the reason for that!"

"This place is in an ideal location for visiting many LA attractions. Pool and hot tub are great. It could have been cleaner. We found used Q-tips in the shower and the window coverings were dirty. The upstairs suite is located far from the main unit. The listing is deceiving in this way. We assumed it was just above like in the photos. Most VRBOs are not owner occupied (I think they advertise this as a VRBO quality). However, the owner was onsite the whole time. Some minor noise due to this....

Hotels can be expensive around here, so when I bring my family for a weekend I always look for someplace clean and safe but cost effective. This place checked all the boxes for us.
