"The rooms are big and majestic and worth the amount paid per day just to come back to a relaxed environment after a long day of touring. The balcony excess and view from the Red Level was awesome but it is a pity that it is too cold in early December to be outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. "Hotel was alright to stay in for short stays. The airconditioning was controlled by staff at reception. As it went down to almost 7 to 9°C in the night, they turned off all airconditioning and required guests to all use another inlet which brings in air from outside. Superb idea, but wished it was conveyed to us beforehand. The first staff member was a tad rude by ignoring me when I told her it was stuffy on the 1st night. "The hotel is clean and quiet. However, they do not assist guests with booking day tours. A bit of a walk to the nearest metro station but only a short taxi ride to bell/drum towers. Taxis are quite cheap here. Walkable to xian yan tower."

"Classic hotel with beautiful stairway and entrance. The room had an extra large king size bed that can fit four of us! Breakfast buffet is plentiful, with both Chinese and Western offerings. It's nice to walk around the neighborhood with many historical buildings. "

"We stayed here for about 16 nights visiting relatives in Yanjiao. Amazing experience, clean rooms, friendly/attentive staff, and an overall comfortable environment. "Although it is stated as a non-smoking hotel, you can smell smoke almost everywhere, such as in the lobby, elevator, back door, hallway and even in the shower in the room. The front desk can’t do anything except apologize."
