"Immaculately clean, well appointed accommodation on the lakeshore. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ample free parking and less than 10min walk to town centre. Loved watching the seaplane taking off from the comfort of our balcony. Would definitely stay again. "

"We stayed in a lovely room in the corner with lots of space. The room would sleep six but with only two of us, it was a treat. Everything was spotless, the linen was excellent and the beds were really good. We enjoyed it very much. It’s right across from the water and in the town so easy walking to restaurants. We didn’t love the restaurants that we ate at. We were leaving on a coach for doubtful sound the next day and so it was extremely convenient."

"I stayed in one of the small cabins on site. The cabin had a bunk bed (double on the bottom, single on the top), a large table, two stools, a fridge and even a small television. It was comfortable for two nights, and clearly clean and well maintained. As the name suggests, the view was splendid. The shared bathroom facilities are immaculately clean and look like new. I’ve seen worse en-suite bathrooms in hotels! I did not use the kitchen facilities, but it looked well-stocked and clean. I did use the laundry, which was very handy. $2 gives you half an hour in the washing machine and $2 for half an hour in the tumble dryer. The setting itself is peaceful, rural and attractive. Everyone who stayed there seemed friendly and respectful of their neighbours. Location is a short drive into are Anau where there are restaurants, bars and plenty of activities. The location is very handy for the road to Milford Sound. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Family of 4 with 2 small children. We enjoyed the large jet tub and separate bedroom/door so that we could sleep in two different areas. Only complaint is the room is hot in the summer months (you have to leave windows open and get bugs, or use two very small fans to cool the rooms). Otherwise, it's within easy walking distance to the center of town/food and just feet away from the lake. Would definitely stay again. "

"After reading some poor reviews we had some trepidation, however, we could not have been happier with our room, it far exceeded our typical standards for accommodations in this price point. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is in a great location just minutes walk from downtown Te Anau and the lake. The staff were welcoming and check in/out was easy. The wi-fi was excellent with individual dedicated routers in each room. Highly recommend this stay, it was excellent value, we would have liked to have stayed longer."
