Great House for Golf Trips
We had 14 for a long golf weekend and the house was perfect. Plenty of beds and baths for everyone, plenty of parking. Tha a/c in every room is nice. Will definitely stay here again.

A perfect family reunion
Our three-generation family group had an amazing stay at this property. We gathered around memorable meals in the well-stocked gourmet kitchen, made s'mores and told stories around the fire pit, and enjoyed hiking and water fun in the local area. Thanks to the excellent host, check in was efficient and simple. The instructions for everything were clear, and Russ instantly answered a few questions that came up. Four families traveled to celebrate my parents' 55th wedding anniversary. This house was the perfect location and we loved the library, the ample bedrooms and bathrooms, the airy great room. We appreciated Russ's tips for local shopping, sights to see, and we loved every minute of our stay. Thanks for a memorable time!

Wonderful Stay with Extended Family
Our weekend at Legends Woodland Lodge was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate and enjoy the 50th Anniversary of our parents! We had 10 adults and 12 children and everyone fit comfortably and had a lot of space to move around and relax. Outdoor yard space is abundant as well. The front porch was our favorite location! The kitchen is large and well stocked and there are two refrigerators, so we had more than enough room to store all the food for our large group. Our time there was one of the best family trips we've every had, and we would definitely consider staying again as it fit all of our needs so well!

“Legend”ary time
This was our 4th time staying here. This time there were 15 of us. I just love this place. It’s a perfect spot. There is lots to do in the area or just find a comfy chair and read a book!! The house is massive! Plenty of room for everyone. If you want to be alone, there are places for that too! The owners are amazing. I can’t wait to come back!

Professional Development Retreat for Montessori Teachers
Our small school, Western PA Montessori School, was looking for a place for a professional development retreat. This lodge was absolutely beautiful and met our needs perfectly! Russell was responsive with our many questions and also provided additional folding chairs and a large screen to help ensure that our weekend was a success. We hope to return with even more staff for our biennial retreat!

Another Great Trip
Another great trip in the books. Our friend group goes to this home each year. Half of us ski while the other half enjoys the home. This hope is perfect for large groups that love games and reading. The kitchen and living rooms serve as spaces where we can easily socialize. We cook each meal at this home, and it is nice to have such a well equipped space.

Great property for extended family
This is our second Christmas stay at this property. The owners decorate to make it very festive and delightful. The teenagers in our group enjoy the nearby skiing. The kitchen is set up well for socializing, with the sofa and the beverage bar. We made good use of the two ovens and industrial stove. The many bedrooms and bathrooms make it work for family groups and couples. This is an ideal setup for our extended family.

Great Place for a Golf Weekend
The lodge was fantastic for our group. We’ve been having our outing of 20 or so family members of all ages for a number of years. The last several have been in the Seven Springs area. We highly recommend the spot. Russ, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating.

Perfect mountain getaway

A fine home!
Russell is an outstanding host, and we have come back to this home for 2 years in a row for our family gathering. We number 23 people, and everybody was comfortably accommodated. We spent a huge amount of time on the front porch, while children played games and ran around in the yard. This was a great place to stay!

Perfect private peaceful setting
The house has large gathering spaces so that you can all dine together and sit on the porch together. We enjoyed sitting on the large porch in the evenings taking in the beautiful yard and some wildlife passing through. I think this home would be beautiful in every season

Family tradition. We have been going to the Woodlands Lodge for years. It is a great place with great accommodations. Russel is very responsive and takes care of any needs quickly. The hot tub was not there when we stayed but that wasn't a major issue for us,
