Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. "Beautifully renovated chateau, combining a thoughtful mixtiure of period features with modern touch. Our room was lovely but rather compact (we only stayed 2 nights so that was fine). We had views of front garden (impressive cedars). Super vista from the terrace and a great outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good but pricey 24€ pp.daily, served in the pavilion accessed by an underground passage. Reception staff were super helpful. "

"Once you're in the room, its very clean and has everything you need. But the exterior is off-putting with a fence around the facility and only one way in/out. We made the mistake of staying several nights thinking the location would be convenient, but working with the limitations of the autoroute was challenging... either using the help button and paying a high toll or taking a long path around and needing to walk through several gates and around the building to get to the room."

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"The door to the room creaked and did not close easily. It was unclear whether it actually locked.The mirror was cracked. The shower fittings were broken. The toilet seat was broken and only the short flush worked. The shower soap dispenser lid was missing. One of the lights just glowed. Having said all that, the bed was good, the beakfast good and the staff very pleasant. "
