"A lot of changes at the Castle since my last stay. The grounds looked amazing! The workers were very friendly on our daily walk. Everything appears to have a fresh coat of paint. Also there are now elevators to get you around the multilevel compound should you need them. Once again we stayed in Pirates Pension and enjoyed the balcony overlooking the cruise ships. But with that view came a lot of noise pollution. Of course the Castle has no control over this as there are 2 very busy roads just...

"This property was a nice safe place for family of 4. It was in a more residential neighborhood. A car is a must if you are going to stay here as it's a ways from beaches and night life. There is one bar/restaurant that is walkable and was great for breakfast and drinks. It does include washer and dryer but no laundry detergent and minimal toiletries/towels. Some touches such as laundry detergent, beach chairs that you could take to beaches, and some toiletries would make it 5 stars. "

"We loved our stay at this beautiful location. Condo is equipped with many basics paper towels, soap, detergent sunscreen etc which were much appreciate. Ocean views were amazing! Property is 5 min walk from the beach which is mostly up/down hill but there are good steps and handrails and an ability to drive if needed. The snorkeling at the condo was fantastic and we even saw a sea turtle the last day. We also did the day sale with the owners friend Captain Pat which was like lovely. "

The infinity pool and hot tub are wonderful. If you want class and luxury this is the place to rent."

"A lot of changes at the Castle since my last stay. The grounds looked amazing! The workers were very friendly on our daily walk. Everything appears to have a fresh coat of paint. Also there are now elevators to get you around the multilevel compound should you need them. Once again we stayed in Pirates Pension and enjoyed the balcony overlooking the cruise ships. But with that view came a lot of noise pollution. Of course the Castle has no control over this as there are 2 very busy roads just below it. I won’t stay in PP again but I would stay at the Castle again. I’ve been coming back for over 30 years. The pool no longer has the waterfall or deep end but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. The poolside little restaurant is gone but now you can get breakfast lunch and dinner from where Banana Tree used to be. They have a nice bar in there facing the harbor. I would say our stay was awesome and I’ve never seen the Castle or the grounds look better. "

"I would recommend that they put some umbrellas at the pool so that guests can get out of the very hot sun. Also, have coffee available earlier in the morning. It was a bummer to wait until 8am to get a cup! Otherwise, the staff was warm and friendly, the food was good, and I loved the quaint, European ambiance! "
