"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"Loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We arrived rather late after a full day at Longleat, but it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Check in was friendly and the room was lovely and impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and my gluten/dairy free husband was well catered for and my son couldn’t wait to try out the play area! Just a lovely stay all round. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we visit the area."

"I spent the last two and half weeks at the George. It’s a very pleasant and convenient place to stay with a wonderful staff. Excellent value! My room was excellent. I had a very comfortable bed, clean on-suite with decent water pressure. At night my room was cosy with decent bed and sheets. There was a desk to work on and enough outlets, which I could find too! Every my room was neatly cleaned, spotless. Vacuuming and all. The parking. It’s behind a locked sliding door which is great....
