"easy access, quick check in the only negative is that the room i was in was near a smoking area or a room that allowed smoking and it seeped in to my room making it hard to breath and burning the eyes. the no smoking policy needs to be more strongly enforced"

"If you’ve stayed at AmericInns before, this one is pretty much like the others. Beautiful view of LakeSuperior and the shoreline is right out the door! There’s also a small water park attached but they are in the process of taking out the slides and it was only open on weekends. The property is located on the edge of town, but dining is just a short drive away. Check out BlackCat coffee and Ashland BakingCompany for goodies in town!"

"Room was nice, clean,warm. The view of the lake was great; it being winter , couldn't tell much about the property but it seemed like a good location. Not in town so had to go about 5-10 minutes to get to a store. When I booked I didn't know the rooms had outside entrances and one had to go outside to get to the main lobby for breakfast,pool, fitness ctr--luckily the weather was not bad Staff that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful."
