This bed and breakfast has lots of charm for an 1800s building. The chefs are graduates of Culinary Institute of America so breakfast was yummy. They also have an attached “eatery” that’s open on weekends. We visited during the week so missed eating dinner there.

Photos are deceitful. 2 dead bugs in bath. 1 live spider and various spider webs in bath Taking damp tissue and wiping bath floor, it was nasty black and dirty Pubic hair on tub wall - no bath mat, towels were worn out. We paid for more than 1 nite; left after 1 nite. A horrible - awful experience.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Stone Hearth Inn and Eatery. The house was built in 1810 and has been lovingly restored by Vicki and her family. It is located in the charming town of Chester, VT. She serves a first class breakfast each morning in a bright sunny room that overlooks the beautiful grounds

My wife and I spent a night at the inn and loved it. Very cool 214 year old building lovingly brought back to life by Vicky and her family. Clean, comfortable and charming. The food was also amazing. My fiance and I had an amazing stay here. Vicki and her staff are incredible and attentive to their guests. The food is beyond amazing one of the best meals we have had. We highly recommend this cute and quaint spot and definitely will be making many trips back!

After the eclipse
Vicky and her family are wonderful hosts. We stayed on the last day of their season and received as welcoming a reception as you might expect at the height of the season. Stonehearth Inn is a labor of love and it shows.
