"Incredible stay at Villa Marcella. The rooms are nice and comfortable and it’s great finishings. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ceviche caribeno. Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"This property is truly a secret gem! Gentlemen at the gate, making us feel safe yet welcome! Woman at check was super nice, I don’t speak spanish, and she took such great care of me! "The hotel is far away from cafes, attractions, the mall. 2 or 3 taxi trips every day.I stayed for 2 nights and they did not clean my room and did not make the bed. Breakfast was instant coffee and a cookie.None of the staff spoke English but that's okay--it is Mexico. "
