"We received many excellent recommendations for hiking and dining during check in and the person who checked us in was lovely. Our best meal was at a recommended restaurant and our favorite hike was their recommendation for taking a longer route from Riomaggio to Corniglia. The room was excellent, especially the terrace overlooking the harbor. I only took a star off for amenities because the hot water kettle needed a bit of cleaning and it would have helped to have a hand towel but everything...

"Very nice house with friendly and helpful staff. Its a up hill walk of a medium distance. A bit difficult if you have baggage. Breakfast is not included. But just a 5 minute walk to the beach and Monterroso's esplanade. Old town is about 15 minutes walk along the sea. Plenty of eateries starting from the moment you come down the hill."

"Spacious room with a window with a great view of the water and the town. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to train station however a steep hill to climb (not overly difficult but would not recommend for people with mobility issues). "

"Hotel Porto Roca is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are brand new - super clean, modern, wonderful bathroom. Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "

"Hotel 5 Terre was a nice location for access to Monterosso and the train station to the other Cinque Terre villages. Parking and breakfast included makes it worthwhile! It’s an older property so don’t expect a lot of modern amenities, but it certainly serves its purpose. WiFi worked so that was a plus! Staff was helpful. "
