Independent in Clausthal-Zellerfeld

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. Every word and toilet trip. 1am before I could sleep all the ear plugs in the world wouldn't help. If you are going to stay up late and enjoy the food then great place to stay If like me, you want to sleep so you are rested to go hiking, book another hotel. "
