"Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! "

"The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water. The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy. We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️"

"An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. In all other respects a lovely property which we enjoyed greatly."

"The house is nice with an amazing view. Had all we needed for a great stay. Waking up to the beautiful lake and mountain views was great. My kids also loved the place, there are sheep right next to the property and all the way up the mountain, the loved calling to the sheep. The owner is really nice and also close by if there are any problems (we had no problems). I’d definitely recommend this place."

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."
