Our stay started off nice and looked nice when arriving. However the staff was not very friendly except 1 bartender his name was Carlos. He was amazing! The shower had no hot water. I had to take a cold cold shower. The buffet for breakfast was not good. French toast was hard like a rock, the potatoes were over cooked. The pastries were wonderful! The best part of the breakfast. The buffet was $35 each and was not worth that price. I tried to get some sort of credit but since I booked thru a 3rd party site they did nothing!!! Pastries and 1 good bartender is not enough to come back. I’ll stick with Blackhawk.

The hotel was beautiful along with the room, staff was great I did not realize the hotel had a spa and when i asked the staff i was told they are not allowed to use the spa even as a paying customer. The best form of advertisement is the staff. I was disappointed the room did not have a functioning AC unit I set the temp to 68 , then 67 and finally 66 when i realized it was not changing and the room was 74 all night. I won't return

The room type we reserved was called the Exclusive Studio which was very nice, however it didn’t have anything different than other rooms to be justified to be called Exclusive or Studio. Upon checking the hotel website, I noticed that the rooms had different names and wasn’t indicated to be a studio. That being said, the hotel section was very nicely decorated. I really wanted to check out the pool but we checked in around 6:30 and all the restaurants close at 10 with the exception of the cafe, which closed at 11:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. We had to choose between dinner or the pool, and given the time, we chose a late dinner at the cafe. The food was just ok, I had a sub and side salad and was charged for extra dressing. It was $1.25, no big deal, but the principal of it was tacky on their part . Anyway, as an insomniac, I would have really enjoyed a midnight swim had it not closed at 9:00. As for the casino… we gambled for roughly six hours. We had to leave our games to go the bar on the other side to get a drink. After waiting in line and finally getting up to the bar, we were the last ones still waiting to order. It was nearly vacant at this time and two bartenders but we were ignored until we called for them. Over the 6 hours, we only had a waitress approach us once. Had we had a few drinks, the pain of losing over and over again wouldn’t have been so bad. These are the tightest slots in Colorado. Overall: Hotel= Yes Cafe = 50/50 Casino = No

Property was new and clean. Since it is still new cleaning staff needs to be better trained or have a checklist of all amenities that should be in the room. Elsewhere, staff was very helpful and kind. Their top restaurant was excellent. Other restaurants I’ve been told are also good but are only open on the weekend.
