"This is my second visit to this idyllic spot in Moorea. A family run group of budget rustic cottages on the lagoon next door to the Hilton. The onsite restaurant serves very high quality food and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel sits oceanfront on a beautiful area of the lagoon with rays, sharks and fish cruising by all day. Air conditioned rooms which is rare in Tahiti and kayaks included, good for family on a budget. "

"Nice bungalow just across from the lagoon and by a nice restaurant. Quiet and relaxing. Older property but well equipped and maintained. The only negative is that the bedroom had AC but the temperature was not able to be lowered and it was a little warmer than we wanted. Still I would recommend the place. Good value."

"A lovely airy bungalow overlooking the lagoon with no other houses nearby. The bungalow was very well equipped including a pair of early rising roosters! The track to the house is a bit rough so better in a 4wd than a little rental car but otherwise a peaceful place to stay. Public beaches 10 minutes away in either direction and plenty of places to eat near by."

"Very helpful and responsive via text or email. They were very accommodating towards are large group and let us arrive early which was amazing. Beautiful place right on the ocean and very convenient to grocery, restaurants and ferry. There isn’t much of a beach but easy access into water and very shallow. Lots of water toys for the kids and adults! Like any where on the island expect bugs and ants- but they did a great job of cleaning prior.washer was convenient during our stay! "

"We had a great time. Well equipped with all our needs like a washing machine, coffee machine, excellent kitchen appliances and more. Good location near Temae Beach and lots of great restaurants & fun attractions. Nice backyard where the kids can play. AC all over the house and easy communication with hosts. "Excellent property, perhaps the best in Tahiti. Far better than even IHG. Food was excellent. Facilities, furnishings all brand new, modern and stylish. Room was modern, cozy and very stylish. Staff was very pleasant. Did I say how excellent the food is? Great views of the S Pacific. Highly recommend. Only negatives… waiting for towel person to appear every time, not enough chaise lounges around the pool deck, some bar staff acknowledged but had to be reminded/re-requested for a beer or water. Gym and spa very nice also. "

"Stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was phenomenal... living right on top of the beautiful reef with the large wall was a dream. Check in and check out were comfortable and easy, with the resort making it easy to enjoy all the amenities even after check out time. Will definitely recommend over and over!"

"I had a lay over stop on my way to New Zealand, and the hotel was a nice stay, The staff was nice and friendly and my dinner was good. I didn’t have a change to walk around the ground because it was a storm off and on during my stay. But they did provide large Umbrella to move around the area. "

"The staff at Cooks Bay is outstanding. Every person I encountered was helpful and kind. My room was lovely. The beding was comfortably and the AC worked great. The pool bar was enjoyable as was the pool and beach area. I ate at the resturant once for each meal. The Mahi Mahi dinner was delicious. I really loved the sauce on the fish. The continental breakfast was perfect, coffee was strong, and the croissants buttery. Lunch was a huge blue cheese burger, yum. I really enjoyed my stay in Cooks Bay. I rented a scooter on site gor one day and drove around the island, just stunning views! Also, went diving with Moorea Blue Diving, awesome experience. I would definitely recommended Cooks Bay to all of my family and friends. "
