The room was typically small, like most European rooms with only enough room to walk around the bed with one chair by a small desk. Bathroom was small with modern fixtures. ten minutes from the city center and 15 mins from the racetrack. Dinner in town at Brasserie Madeleine was delightful"

We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. We had the set meal for our evening meal ,we were asked if there's anything we didn't like ,and that was it 6 courses were serviced all individual ,tasty and filling.The wine was good no complaints. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. "I am sort of torn how to respond to this particular place. While the unit itself was, let's just say spartan, a step above camping, the people were nice, the breakfast included was adequate, and there's nothing really to complain about.
