"Great stay at the hotel whilst visiting Wookey Hole, all staff very friendly. Ignore some reviews about the restaurant we thought both the breakfast and dinner were great, actually one of the hottest cooked breakfast I have had at a hotel, dinner was also good portions and not … if you have young children if you come out of the hotel and go up the steps to the right where lodges are loads of rabbits running about along the hedge row and field. If you get cheese in nearby cheddar the hotel will also happily store overnight for you in the fridge till you depart "

"Lovely property in a character building. I enjoyed the unique feeling of the hotel, and the great & helpful staff! Great area, and so close to the train station. Breakfast was also great, and felt more personal than other hotel breakfasts that I've had before. My only con is that the floor can be a bit creaky in the hallways, and you may hear someone walking by, but it didn't bother me much."
