"This was a work trip for myself and my crew of 2. This house was way beyond expectations! If more stars could be given, I would. House was very clean and kitchen exceptionally stocked with full set of pots and pans, and dinner ware for at least 8 people. Location is great as it is a half mile from downtown Staunton. This neighborhood is very walk-able and quiet. I will definately stay here again."

Luxury cabin in the woods, 2 bedrooms plus loft
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (136)
"This home was incredible! We couldn't believe our luck as we traveled down the winding drive to find this beauty at its end. Our family of two adults and three kids ages 10, 13, and 15 settled in quickly to this cozy cabin. The owners, David and Susan, are very responsive and accommodating and have made many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. With top notch linens and bedding to comfortable furniture for all of us to cuddle up for a movie, we felt right at home. We enjoyed so much of the...

North Central Loft: Walk Downtown Staunton
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"We chose to get away for a three day weekend - short hikes, touring a few wineries and checking out Staunton. The apartment was great. Just a ~5 minute walk to the pedestrian-only main road in town that has restaurants and the playhouse. The frontier museum was just a short drive away (highly recommended). The apartment was clean and well-appointed, and the check-in process very easy. There are stairs right after you right after the entry to get to the apartment. Not a difficult flight but...

Historic 1850s Home at the Base of Jump Mountain
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (25)
"It was amazing to have the privilege of being able to stay in a home that is this timeless. However with an 1850's home, there are some aspects that may not be what you're used to, especially the bathroom facilities. They were OK, but a renovation in that area would be welcome. The beds are all comfortable! Great internet, too. I loved just seeing all the antiques ... and the beautiful views. We weren't often at the house because we were in town for our daughters graduation. It's a unique...

Bud's Place, Southern Charm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"A great property! We came to attend a graduation at Washington and Lee. This property was far better to enjoy all events and celebrate with family. The house had everything we needed and we had room to spread out and be comfortable. Everything was clean and extra touches from the toiletries to welcome basket were super thoughtful and appreciated. We were worried we might be far out but we were close to University and shopping and had a fabulous week."

'Clearwater Cabin' on 10 Acres w/ Trout Stream!
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (115)
"If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices."

Make memories to last a lifetime.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (109)
"This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question."

Spy Run Hideaway is a 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway & pet friendly!
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"We had a great time at Spy Run Hideaway! The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the gas grill on the porch. We spent most of our time in the huge covered deck or running in the front yard. Lots of great bird watching to be had. We had one night of bad storms and were excited to find there was a back up generator ready to go. We were prepared to “rough” it until power restored but instead we just limited our use of power to necessary areas and had a great night of games listening...
