"My room had a lovely view of the bay. I had a hard time keeping the shutters open so I had limited enjoyment. The room was clean and airy. The hotel itself is not near the old town, but it is about 15 min walk to the closest bus station which gets you there fairly quickly. It’s about half an hour walk from the city bus terminal. "

"The sea view from the balcony room was amazing, especially at sunset. Breakfast was fine, lots of choice but eggs, beans etc in the cooked area were only barely warm. The hotel is located only 10 minutes by taxi from Dubrovnik airport. An Uber works out about 13 euro & a taxi about 20. The resort of Cavtat is beautiful with a freat choice of restaurants. "Superb views of the beach. Last time I was in Dubrovnik, I stayed in a different hotel but moving forward, I will be staying at Hotel Kompas. Such great amenities, clean rooms, friendly staff, and very walkable to the restaurants and beaches."

"Sun Gardens was a surprise. We stayed in the residences and got upgraded to a 2 bedroom. There were fireworks at night. We only stayed 1 night as we have to fly out early the next day. I wished we could have stayed longer. It is early in the season and still cold for the beach and outdoor pools. But we got to enjoy the sauna and indoor pool. Overall, we loved our stay."
