The DJ in the bar area on Friday night was great. The lights on the sides of the vanity mirror did not function properly. The toilet fill valve had to be "jiggled" manually to work. The vanity cold faucet was not secured to the countertop and also only turned on about 1/2 way. The filth under the couch in our room was disgusting (I dropped a cufflink) The room was advertised for $242 per night but after all the add-ons and taxes it was $371 per night. $60 per day for valet parking before tip (hotel only has 10 spaces for self parking). $25 per day for the "Amenity Fee". I asked about this charge and was told it was for you know, amenities of the hotel, like housekeeping. So they charged us a total of $50 to make our bed once. This is my tenth year in a row as Hilton Diamond member, I spend a lot of time in hotels. The overall value of this experience was poor.

The hotel is design focused, really sharp looking, homely and well thought out. The service was great all the way around. The food at the restaurant was delish. Can’t wait to stay again.

I have stayed at Virgin Hotel Dallas twice and I plan to make it my designated hotel when in the Dallas area or any of its other locations. The location of the Dallas hotel is in a safe neighborhood and has convenient shopping. The on-site restaurant has impeccable service with a 4-star menu. The front desk staff was hospitable. The valet staff was professional and provided A service! For example, upon checking out of the hotel, we decided to have brunch on-site. When we checked out of the hotel, our vehicle was waiting in front of the hotel for departure. The valet staff loaded our vehicle with our luggage and had the car doors open awaiting our departure. If I could give this hotel and staff more than 5 stars, I would!

We love the Virgin line, so this property falls in with the expectations of that. Troy at the bar is especially awesome! We had a great view of the Dallas skyline and NYE fireworks from our room.

First time at a Virgin property. Staff was completely focused on our needs. If they don’t know the answer to our questions they found someone who did. So refreshing. Never an “I don't know”. Their attitude was top notch. Authentically friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Crab Cakes were perfect, BBQ shrimp a bit spicy and accompanied by a very nice quinoa cake. Ordered off the TV for breakfast and we received prompt and delicious food. Brekky and avocado toast were wonderful. Special kudos to Jada and Jordie at the front desk. Very patient with a myriad of questions. The front door staff went beyond the call of duty in the pouring rain.

I was excited to try the pop up Christmas bar and then won the exciting saint nicks suite escape. I made a special trip to Dallas to experience what promises to be entertainment, instagramable moments, and Santa approved cocktails and even got a room for the night. What a scam this whole thing was. Not anything like they said, barely any room to even sit down. We left immediately after our first drink. And in our room the bed was broken and dipping down at the head and the tv barely worked and would lose service. It was terrible. I would never recommend, especially considering how pricy the room was.
