"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch.."

Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. "This was hands down the best stay my husband and I have ever experienced. The home itself was exactly what we were looking for. It's such a peaceful and quiet place set back away from civilization. The house was so clean and had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The entire property was beautiful and well manicured. "The cabin was cozy and easily accessible. Be aware that the 1 bedroom has a double bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (bring a memory foam if you have back/joint pain). The twin bed is located in the same bedroom and has a more comfortable mattress but is low to the floor. We loved the history of the cabin and the heating system is excellent! Kitchen and living room are spacious. No toaster."
