Amazing Stay!
By far one of our best experiences. The property is absolutely beautiful with every convenience imaginable. The owners thought of everything. The secluded location on the lake made us feel as if we had it all to ourselves. Perfect spot for fishing, swimming, and enjoying the water but close to town. We will definitely be back!

Great Place for a Reunion!
My college ROTC 1980s group gets together every November consisting of six couples all over 50 years old. We get together every November for a long weekend. We're always looking for a great property and definitely found it at Mystic River Lodge. It's a great property with meeting spaces and nice bedrooms. The amenities are all nice and modern. The location is great for hiking and many other activities. The owners are incredibly nice and responsive to needs. Definitely a keeper!!

Yearly Family Gathering
This is the place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy your family. Everything about the house and cabins is beautiful! We enjoyed home cooked meals for our family which was easy with the fully stocked kitchen and unbelievable grill area. After dinner we gathered around the beautiful bar, the pool area or the fire pit watching the fish, the turtles, and birds enjoying each other’s company. We even had a movie night in the theater room which is amazing. I can’t wait to go back again!

Beautiful & Relaxing Getaway
The property is beyond beautiful and has plenty of space. It was all around well stocked and the beds were all comfy! I saw a review beforehand and agree with it, pictures don’t do this property justice. The indoor pool was a lot of fun as well as floating on the lake and the bar area was a perfect way to end the night with pool and darts. Lots of fun memories were made here with friends and we hope to come back again with our family. Thank you so much!

Lovely home with a great location.
This beautiful property is comfortable and includes many extra touches. Lots of space for a group in a quiet very private neighborhood. The marina is close and convenient. The driveway is steep and a little intimidating if you are not prepared for it. Owners were very responsive to questions before our trip.

Fantastic property for a large group!
It’s hard to envision this property until you see it in person. So much space for a large group to be comfortable! There are lots of bonus spaces in the bottom floor of the main building although we had wonderful weather all week and spent the majority of our time outside as the lakefront space is so nice. 8 minute drive to a good grocery store. Owner was great to work with.

This house has everything you could imagine. The pictures do no justice. New additions being made will enhance the existing home. Communication with the owner was great, always tending to our needs and concerns. Rained every day of our stay except one, but had plenty to do with the ammenities offered with the house. Would do this vacation home again!!!

Absolutely Amazing!
I don’t even know where to start. This place is a must stay! Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The cabin and adjacent cabins were amazing! Everything was so clean and comfortable and so so organized! We booked this property for a high school girls basketball team and their families. The girls didn’t want to leave! We could have not asked for a better property or location and we will definitely be back!

Perfect cabin weekend
We’ve been looking for the perfect place for what seems like forever for our family to all come together and we found this place that literally has it all. We can’t believe that more people haven’t found this incredible place! The area was very private and the steepness had that mountain vacation feel, but lakeside all at the same time. Best of both worlds. We were thrilled to see deer in the evenings, no bears thank goodness! The sauna was a nice touch in the cool weather. Lots of good times and big laughs.

Amazing River Lodge!
It was beyond beautiful. Perfect for large groups has a fully stocked kitchen had a big enough space for everyone to sit down and eat. Has multiple cabins which made it perfect for little families. Incredible indoor pool and hot tub. By far the best bar I’ve ever seen in a cabin. Large outdoor area. Had plenty of chairs for everyone to sit. Large walkout dock. Perfect for a day of floating or kayaking. It felt like we were in our own little world. It was private but still close to surrounding stores. Overall a great time! We will definitely be back in the future.

The perfect family reunion destination!
Our many thanks to our hosts! They provided every possible amenity to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The home is immaculate and luxurious. It offers space for groups to come together and to spread out. The location is gorgeous, secluded and peaceful, yet close to grocery and other shopping. Our party included 9 teenage cousins who enjoyed the Tavern Game Room, The Cinema Movie Room, the fishing dock, the Fire Pit and simply eating together at the rustic, large dining table. We rented a boat to explore the lake and hiked lots of amazing trails. Our entire extended family agreed that this was a perfect and fantastic destination to reconnect. So grateful to our hosts!

What a great cabin!
We stayed here for a wedding; our group was friends, family, and the wedding party! Great space for entertaining! My only suggestions would be to add a full set of pots and pans for the main cabin-we pilfered some various small pans from the tiny cabins in order to cook a few meals-a full set would have been great to have in a kitchen built for entertaining and cooking! I slept in a queen bed upstairs that overlooked the parking area outside the garage, and the bed had a major “ditch” in the middle. My husband and I still slept-but it did cause major giggles when we would wake up mashed down in the “ditch” of the bed! Other beds seemed fine-or at least no one mentioned anything! The cabin was spotless and such a super space for us all to enjoy! Thank you for a great wedding weekend!

Fantastic property
Fantastic cabin. So many amenities. The kitchen is a chefs dream! We rented a pontoon boat from Bluewater marina which is located just 10 minutes from the cabin. The 3rd floor air conditioning went out mid week with Temps in the 90's. Shane was on it immediately and it was fixed the next morning. We hadn't rented the new loft cabin, so I asked if we could use it for the night. Shane graciously agreed and let us use it the remainder of the week at no additional charge. We had a group of adults and teens. There was plenty to do and we never got bored. We used the kayaks every day, shot pool, watched movies and just relaxed. My 70 year old mom even kayaked!

Familia Rivera Weekend Trip
This cabin rental was perfect for a large family weekend getaway -- crew of 20! There was plenty of space in the cabin to do all sorts of family activities/games but also for everyone to kinda do their own thing when wanted. The pool was definitely our favorite part of the cabin--if you're wondering how big it is, we were all able to enjoy it simultaneously without it being crowded. If you have a family who likes to keep busy with activities without getting bored, but still relaxing this is the cabin for you!! We literally used every inch of this space -- every cabin, the bar area, the grills outside, the fire pit, the kitchen for sure, the arcade video game table, the sauna! the movie room was def a favorite as well, even the gym was used. Literally everything was used and thoroughly enjoyed. This cabin is literally perfect for every member of the family. Whenever we had any questions about the property, the managers and owners replied right away, they were so kind and so helpful - definitely made us feel very welcomed. The cabin was equipped for everything we needed to enjoy the weekend and whatever we needed walmart was a 5 min drive. Looking forward to booking during the summer so we can enjoy the lake area with the kayaks. Definitely a 10/10 recommend!!! :)

Beautiful Resort
This is a large, beautiful property. The woodwork is extraordinary and much nicer than the photos in the listing. The separate cabins were used for our various ages from the teens, the 20s, and us adults in the main house. The cabins are extremely well done. Absolutely precious! I wish I had the blueprints and workers for the workmanship. Nice things you may not know from the listing: Lake is very quiet with few other boaters or houses. Every single room has its own thermostat/climate control! There was a lot of seating (which is rare in the last 10 years of large homes)…a lot of places say they host over 20 but then you show up and everyone can’t sit down or go to the dock at the same time. Here, we were happily accommodated. There is both a Kuerig and regular coffee pot, and both had starter amounts, so thoughtful! Excellent price for the size and especially quality. Kind and communicative host and manager. Lots to say but you get the idea: for a quiet retreat to accommodate a lot of folks together and privately, this is the answer; go ahead and book!

Needs some attention
Great location and amenities, however the property is suffering from lack of maintenance and shoddy construction. The Master bed slats are collapsing so the bed comically caves in the middle, plumbing all over the house is loose and wobbling off counters, outdoor kitchen is dirty filled with leaves and dust and only partially functional, pool table is awesome but only two cues had ends, stairway down rocks has half the stringers needed to be solid, outdoor railings down to first level will fall over with big shove, we had to replace batteries at our own expense in a smoke detector to stop beeping, towels are sparse. Dog droppings scattered evenly around property. Construction site at top of driveway is a garbage dump. Clean and fix the property and it’ll be perfect.

The owner called me the day before we arrived to welcome us and answer questions. The tavern was our main hang out spot. The pool table and sport games at the bar TVs for the adults and game table for the kids. There is a Bluetooth enabled sound system with a speaker in every corner of the bar and pool table room. The theater room has a very nice 5.1 surround sound using klipsch speakers. We watched the Matrix and felt immersed. I have never seen anyone with Elon Musk starlink so I tested it. The speed test showed a download speed of 102mb per sec, not bad for satellite internet. We used the sauna cabin every day which can seat 5 comfortably. The weight room wasn’t the same as my home gym but not bad for a quick workout while on vacation. They are building an indoor pool and hot tub to extend the main cabin. It seems like much of the concrete work is complete. We will definitely come back once it’s finished. We took a 45 minute trip to Ruby Falls and lookout mountain which is a must do. Great trip to relax and recharge.

Not what we expected for the price.
We arrived on June 4 to find the property dirty, full trash cans, overgrown weeds, outdoor kitchen filthy, screws protruding out of outdoor chairs, trash left behind wall of outdoor kitchen. A freezer that won’t work in main kitchen and us with $800 worth of groceries for 20 people. Theater room TV would not work. Arcade game for children would not work. Broken spindles on the railing of the upper deck. Broken ladder at the boat and swimming platform. Spiral stair broken handrails. Upon calling owner got someone that didn’t know what to do. Brought us a new refrigerator on Tuesday. We have stayed in the same area the past two years and had no problems with our accommodations at much less cost. With the price of the cleaning fee of this location I sure expected more. This was a Christmas gift to my adult children that I was very disappointed in. Suggest the owner pay more attention to his staff and their phone staff. Beds were very uncomfortable and upon calling VRBO customer service was on the phone for an hour and 44 minutes had to explain situation to three different people from which I got no satisfaction. Very disappointing!

NACA volleyball tournament
We had 4 adults and 13 players on this trip. We never had any issues with not enough room. All the girls had a blast. The house was close to town but far enough out to feel private! I highly recommend this for future stays.

Beautiful Lake Getaway!
This lake property had everything: waterfront, beautiful main house with wood throughout, cabins for families to spread out, sauna, indoor pool with hot tub, pool table, kayaks, etc.! We can't even name everything. The whole family came together from all four corners of the U.S. for a niece's wedding in TN, and everyone loved the place!
