5/5 Excellent
"My wife and I loved this resort! The service was excellent. The Jr Suite was clean and modern with a great view of morning sunrises and the ocean. The bathroom had dual sinks and all new fixtures with a raindrop shower. The food options were wide-spread, my favorite was Krystal Restaurant, followed by The Steakhouse, where we celebrated our Anniversary dinner. We tried the Italian & Kyoto as well. My favorite dish was actually the BBQ ribs served at the 24-hr Sports Bar - so nice to have alcohol available all day. Our room had a full bar and the mini fridge was always filled with beers, water and soft drinks - what is so cool is that you can order replenishment at anytime courtesy of the RUI app. Also, the lobby had an evening drink cart to complement the Lobby Bar (Daiquiri) featuring different cocktails each night, we enjoyed Mescalitas on Monday and Amaretto Sours on Thursday. The evenings were fun-filled particularly the White Party and the NYE party, La Peninsula Restaurant had amazing food carving stations and the champagne was flowing. The NYE countdown show was quite hilarious with all the noisemakers, hats, masks and champagne provided. The staff really went all out to make the party outstanding. The pool action was perfect for us…if we wanted music we hit the swim up bar, Marlin. Advice is to get lounge chair spots early for prime spots - we mostly opted for ocean view deck. Pool attendants always kept our cups full. Highly recommend and would go again!"
