"When we checked in, the room we were assigned was a non-smoking room on non-smoking floor. However, the last tenants likely smoked heavily and the room was full of smell when we stepped in. After talking to the hotel staff, they immediately arranged for another room on a higher floor for us with their staff ensured us satisfied with the room before leaving us. "Airconditioning was stuck at 24 degrees. Our other room was really hot so they moved my hubby to a junior suite,. Here airconditioning was better but Still not cool enough. It was winter in Shanghai but the rooms need not be warm and stuffy. Loved the bed, the small touches of this 5-Star hotel. Good location too. They called us a taxi to anywhere, we never took a subway as Taxis are Cheap here. We enjoyed a lot."

"Hi i stayed at the Langham in Shanghai and loved it, it was great service comfortable beds, and in a very walk-able area. lots of restaurants and malls and shops. We actually even walked to the Bund. took about 35 min it was a great walk"
