"This hotel goes above and beyond for customers traveling with dogs! There is a large outdoor dog park, with free dog waste bags, and lots of grass for walks. There is a mudroom just off the dog park, with a bathtub, shampoo and towels to clean your dog before coming inside. In the room, there is a big dog bed and a bin full of extrra towels, a sheet to cover the bed to keep it clean, a dog blanket, and a goodie bag filled with treats, more plastic bags and tennis balls! They even have paintings...

"Staff was outstanding and treated us like family. Nice big parking lot. Beautiful setting, pool, hot tub and fire pit are wonderful amenities. Room decor is a bit dated but not a big deal to us as long as it’s clean, Our room smelled slightly like smoke when we first arrived, which was the only downside of the whole stay. Beds were comfy & room was clean. Would stay here again!"

"For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. We have stayed in some exquisite places and some very undesirable places. Not a large chain. The management was very discriptive of their processes and proceedures that...
