"What can I say, this is the perfect mountain getaway! Secluded cabin at the top of the mountain surrounded by woods with the sound of the river below. The night’s darkness and the stars lighting up the sky….cant ask for more! The drive up and down is exciting (4x4 is definitely recommended to make the drive easy) and I would suggest trying to make it to check in while it’s still light out to make it easier to navigate first time up. Stop for supplies down the road before going up and using the fireplace on cold nights is a plus. WiFi available with streaming video. The shower her is awesome! You won’t be disappointed! "

"The place was great! Nice shower water pressure and hot water. The kitchen can accommodate a lot, but the host does not supply plasticware. If you want to take drinks to the hot tub or river, get some solo cups. There is no automatic ice maker, so get a bag of ice.The mattresses were great. We had a great sleep. Hot tub and river view is very secluded. Downtown Historic Ellijay could be accessed by foot if needed. Covered parking was very appreciated."

"We appreciated being able to stay in this cabin. If you are looking for seclusion, it's here! The kitchen was well appointed, and there would be plenty of space for 4-6 people throughout the cabin.The place came stocked with firewood, including kindling which was great because it rained, and plenty of fishing supplies that I didn't get to use unfortunately. The gravel road to the property could be hard to get down with low clearance, and could be rough if conditions are icy. We had a front wheel drive SUV that handled it no problem, even with a ton of rain."

"We come up to Ellijay every other year and always choose a different cabin. This one was our favorite. Great communication, perfect layout, awesome view. Love how there is a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It offers a little more privacy. "

"This Stay with our family was perfect. We needed a place for just two nights coming from another cabin stay with family. This was perfect. The bunk beds worked perfectly for our kids. Love that we had an option to bring our oldest as well as there is a pull out sofa bed. It is in the middle of the woods and has a little farm with goats, chickens and bunnies. Our cabin was right next to the animals so we could walk right out and see them, We were watching them get fed one morning and the owner (I am assuming) brought one of the bunnies to us so my daughter could hold one. We actually wish we could have stayed longer. Cute little area for a bonfire as well. "

"The cabin and location are spectacular. The place was immaculate and well stocked with anything you would need. Pictures online don’t do it justice. Loved the views and fireplace!. Ellijay and the surrounding areas have excellent restaurants and shopping and it is wonderful to be able to support the local business owners. "
