"I stayed here recently on a short break in Lincoln. It’s well located in a quiet area very near the castle. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly and helpful. Stokes cafe and a great tapas restaurant are just across the courtyard and there’s a large pay and display car park behind the hotel if you drive. The hotel is very attractive and is gradually getting investment. My room was one that has already been renovated and was of a great standard. My only criticism would be that the mattress...

We were one of the top floor rooms with great view. Bathroom good - wet room that succeeds in only getting the shower area wet and has good drainage. And warm. Breakfast plentiful and fresh.
