Poor communication between restaurant and hotel had us very nearly not being charged for dinner. You shouldn’t have to rely on the honesty of your guests! Otherwise faultless. "

"We stayed at Ebsen's after a long motorcycle ride and ferry crossing from Germany. The staff were very welcoming and warm. The hotel is old, but just what I expected. The room was large, but only single beds. Breakfast was very good. Good free parking out the back of the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay."

"The hotel has no reception and everything is handled online.... When I arrived the front door to the hotel was open and the door to to my room was also open... It should have been locked. The rooms are nice and the bed is good."

"The location is excellent for taking the ferry onwards. The room is small but clean. The bed is also small and terribly uncomfortable without a bed madras. The motorway is just besides so if you sleep with open window it's of course disturbing. The hotel works."

"This place was very clean and inviting! Check in was a snap and John was all about service with a smile and laugh. He instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome and showed us to our room. It was well maintained, clean and absolutely charming. The countryside was perfect. We did get in later and local restaurants were already closed at 9. Highly recommended "

"The absolute worst accommodation I have ever experienced. Wooden cabins full of dust and dirt, old mattresses full of dust and never cleaned, lots of ants all over the cabin, couldn't get rid of them. The upper floor is climbed by a very steep ladder, absolutely unsuitable for the safety of children. No beds upstairs, only mattresses on the floor. Stale air. Nevermore."
