"Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "

"Really lovely and cosy hotel in the heart of the town. They thought of everything - even the welcome book that had a history of the building and the local area. It was engaging and fun to take time to read. The facilities were excellent and the breakfast served was tasty and set us up for the day. I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone."

"The room was beautifully clean and spacious. The bed was harder than usual. The swimming area was fantastic, very busy on a sat we had to wait about 30 mins. Sunday the spa was very quiet which was great! The restaurant was a disappointment, ordered lamb pie and it was pure fat. It took an hour to arrive so the offer to cook another meal was not an option I wanted to take as I was past being hungry.
