"The Svanstein Lodge has lots of different room options -- we went with the "cottage," which had a bedroom, living room, and bathroom -- the living room was a nice touch! Wifi signal seemed strong throughout the property. The property is pretty and easy to find. Make sure you read "the fine print" about the property and facilities, and you'll be well set for a great visit!"

"We had a lovely time in Jockfall ad the kids in our group had a great time playing on the snow.Unfortunately we had some issues relating to maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of the house.For instance, there was no functioning light in the sauna or shower room. When we contacted the host he gave us the number to a person who no longer worked with the house. To use the sauna we had to use torchlights. The cleanliness was also substandard. There was a plate of food in the microwave left over from...

"Start with the positives: the breakfast was good and the room nicely sized. Neutral: The toilet/shover was outdated. Negative: I was very disappointed because I had asked about EV charging before through Facebook. They neglected to mention in their response that they charge a 10€ flat fee. The property has schuko sockets available so there’s no way to charge 10€ worth in one night. I would have been ok to pay a reasonable price per kWh."

"Very homely feel. Staff are very kind and helpful. There is just a supermarket at the hotel too! Car can be parked at the carpark opposite for free. And there is a burger joint opposite too."
