"We loved staying here so much that after we had moved on to stay in a different part of the island after a few days we decided to return to this apartment for the rest of our holiday in Flic En Flac as it was just across from the beach, had so many restaurants and a supermarket close by."

"Wir waren zu zweit mit 10 Übernachtungen in diesem Ferienhaus. Das haus liegt sehr nahe am Strand, es gibt paar recht gute Restaurants in der nähe und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß). Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig, und hat so weit alles, was man so für eine Urlaub braucht. Bettwäsche und Badetücher waren frisch gewaschen. Functionally and thoughtfully structured rooms including a large master bedroom equipped with a working desk big enough for two people, connecting walk-in closet (room!) with a built-in dresser. "We were met on arrival at the villa by the housekeeper Dorinne. Dorinne was very friendly and showed us all around the villa and explained the alarms and keys etc. The villa is extreamly well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. "Fabulous Resort. Truly felt like we were in paradise. All the staff were very polite and friendly - Tania at reception and Fazal at poolside. Food for breakfast was great especially enjoyed the addition of make your own juice. Buffet dinner at La Patio was good with different theme each night and Citronella restaurant was also very nice. Would definitely consider returning in the future. "

"We had a fantastic 5 days at this resort. Everything worked very well. Our room had a wonderful terrace/balcony, was spacious, clean with all the necessary amenities. The beach was a stone throw from our accommodation; sandy and a little rocky like all beaches in Mauritius. Food was very good, both the Indian and Italian buffets, as well as the a la carte. My only gripe is the cost of wine, which is true of all hotels in Mauritius. Many Brits/French and Russians. "

Sofitel Mauritius L'Imperial Resort & Spa

"We visited the resort with our 2 kids, came from Turkey and stayed there for 4 happy days. The resort has a vintage beauty. We arrived there early, after a long, exhausting flight, but, the hotel was full and they couldn't give us a room before 15:00. However, they were kind and sincere and tried their best to help us. We tried the main restaurant and the snacks restaurant by the pool. Breakfasts were accompanied by beautiful birds and dinners by mystical frog sounds. Food options were mostly spicy, a little different for our taste but we didn't struggle finding options, more importantly, for the kids. They were very helpful changing the listed menu item and preparing foods according to our taste. My husband once had allergic symptoms, but the staff was very helpful, and stayed alert to bring us to the hospital quickly in case of an emergency. I wouldn't say that they were extremely professional because, in a place full of coconut trees, they said they "may" provide it only after 3-4 days. The pool was perfect for kids, the sand was beautiful; while you are chilling, kids can play safe and free. The boutiques were also nice with honest sellers. We stayed in a villa, upper floor, the garden was dreamy (but saw a dead bird not taken for days). Our room was beautiful, moderately clean, bathrooms were tired, the main bed was comfy but the sofa bed was NOT. Bottled waters provided once and should be filled using fountains (kids loved it). Overall, it was a nice experience for us."

"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. When in Mauritius, I will always go back to this hotel. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one!!!!"
