"Hotel was alright to stay in for short stays. The airconditioning was controlled by staff at reception. As it went down to almost 7 to 9°C in the night, they turned off all airconditioning and required guests to all use another inlet which brings in air from outside. Superb idea, but wished it was conveyed to us beforehand. The first staff member was a tad rude by ignoring me when I told her it was stuffy on the 1st night. "The rooms division is terrible. Front desk ineffficient, not providing the expected services, lack knowledge, skills and information. Drainage in shower cabinet is too slow, towel taken away although is hung as directed for protection of enivronment. only one bath towel for one guest. Socket should be international type, not Chinese type(you are international hotel, right?). F&B is excellent. Excellent service. Good food quality. "I initially booked a two-night stay at The Westin Xian but ended up leaving early and I’m glad I did. While the hotel has potential, it feels dated and poorly maintained. We reserved a large one-bedroom suite but were given a lower-floor room that required a long walk to reach. Since we were traveling with my elderly father-in-law, we requested a wheelchair, expecting a hotel of this caliber to have a good one. Unfortunately, the wheelchair was broken. "We love the tour agent located on property who helped organise the excursions for us. The property is also located near a lot of food in walking distance. "

Receptionists do not speak very good english but they did their very best to help me especially when I was contacting my Didi driver for my pick-up.
