"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

"Only problem is they don’t serve dinner, but there are walkable options. Nice pool and spa but gym is very basic and in need of an upgrade. Rooms are really nice. "

"Excellent with one or two reservations. The staff were wonderful in every respect. The apartment we chose was very good size with a comfy bed. Easy to use aircon. Our only reservations really related to future rather than the here and now as some of the fixtures and fittings are already failing a bit."

"Faultless, absolutely faultless. From the friendliest reception check in, to the wine tasting and lunch we had whilst waiting for our room. From contacting the reception team about a buggy up to the golf club house for dinner. Every aspect is covered. The location speaks for itself, in a tranquil valley, we had 48 hours of bliss. The food in the Kleine Zalze restaurant is some of the finest I’ve ever eaten in South Africa. Thank you for making our stay so lovely. "
