We had to wait to be checked in, the house hadn’t been opened up or aired, the sheets were old and smelt damp, the garden was neglected and sad, many of the furniture items and fittings were old and broken. Worst of all, although the house was advertised for 8 people, there was only space for 5 since the 2 single beds were in fact one small bed and the sofa bed was unusable.
