It was only accessible by climbing 2 flights of fairly steep stairs, which we were unaware of when booking. The breakfast was excellent but was in a restaurant around the corner, not in the same building. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. "

Pre-ordered breakfast for the following day and then settled down for the evening in a huge room with comfy seats, a big bed and a lovely bright and clean bathroom. Breakfast was just as promised, fresh, local and really tip top. Sat chatting with the hosts over breakfast watching the horse liveries turning out for the morning. Very very pleasant. "

There seems to be a high staff turnover the past few years however bar and restaurant staff were excellent on this visit and couldn't have been more welcoming.
