"The hotel was lovely, staff were all very friendly especially the cleaning staff, the room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. We booked a sea view room for the weekend from the pictures online thinking we would have seats looking out to the sea however the room simply had a high window, we could see the sea from it though! This was the only real downfall. The breakfast was lovely. The lounge area was beautiful. The room was a bit small for the price but had everything we needed...

Trevelyan

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (73)
"Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. Juice, cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much...

Santa Rosa offers captivating views from its position overlooking Douglas bay.

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"The property has picture windows overlooking the bay - stunning views. The house was clean overall, comfortable and well equipped. Although there is a lack of shaver point which I use to charge my electric toothbrush. I had to buy a manual toothbrush. The rugs in hall, lounge and kitchen are unnecessary as the floors are tiled/parky flooring. These rugs could do with a clean as could the settees. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay with easy parking at the bottom of the hill and a good 10...
