"The best part of the hotel was its location. It’s central to almost everything you’d want to walk to in Victoria but in a really safe area at night. Huge soaking bathtub and high quality soaps/shampoo was a big plus too. Beds were comfortable and well built but the bed coverings were thin and pillows too firm. Hotel was fairly quiet but you could hear movement and talking in the hallways at night so need earplugs if a light sleeper. Checkin and checkout process was cumbersome and took a while with only one employee at the front desk during busy times. Luggage storage was available and easy to use. Note that the free beverage advertised is just a soda water."

Still a beautiful hotel but currently (Mar 2025) experiencing some challenges after a wild, windy winter. All to be resolved by summer?"
