Bamboo House: Charming Private Tropical Oasis in the Heart of the Village.

Bamboo House is a fully renovated mid century cottage in the heart of the village. It is set within a completely enclosed private tropical oasis comprising a main house with 2 bedrooms and a separate shared bathroom, and two separate guest cottages each with en suite bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms are outfitted with queen beds, ample storage / closet space and double glazed sound proof sash windows with solar shades. Each of the bathrooms are bright and modern, and outfitted with Kohler fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with white quartz countertops, Kohler fixtures and Bosch appliances - plus various coffee making options including a Nespresso machine. This quaint village home has been tastefully decorated in a perfect blend of contemporary modern style and timeless island charm. Lush outdoor tropical gardens surround the cottages and include an outdoor shower and many opportunities for relaxing and al fresco dining. Bamboo House is located on the busy end of Dunmore Street close to the intersection with Clarence Street - which is home to the famous license plate wall. Bamboo House is also equipped with a 24 hour standby generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply during your vacation.

In off peak season, Bamboo House can be rented as just the main house (2 bedrooms), or the main house plus one guest cottage (3 bedrooms) or the main house plus two guest cottages (4 bedrooms). In peak season, the entire property (main house and both guest cottages = 4 bedrooms) must be rented. Please note below rates and do not hesitate to further inquire:

This house was absolutely amazing! Pascale and Olga are two of the kindest, most easy people to work with that I’ve ever encountered through VRBO. The house was adorable, and we loved that it was completely walled in so our friends with kids could come over and we didn’t worry about them escaping!! Great lay out for a couples trip. Bamboo House is great for families traveling to Harbour Island. Communication with the host was great and Olga kept the house clean and tidy every day. Our only complaint is that the neighbors were very loud playing music and partying outside late into the night.
